Senior Full-Stack Developer
From the back end, to the front end — I build it all.

I'm Jodi.
I've been building things on the web professionally for 11 years now. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University in 2016 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a concentration in CS. That means my coursework was focused highly on application development and algorithms. While I'm interested in all aspects of programming, I decided that I preferred the web side of things, so I landed an internship as a web developer and designer. I love building every part of a web app from start to finish, so I've been a full-stack developer ever since.

Side Work
I do a lot of coding in my free time outside of work, and I'm always trying to learn new technologies to better my skills. The best way for me to learn something is to do it in action. As a result, I tend to build sample web apps to demonstrate these skills. Visit my GitHub page to see my side work.
My most recent project is a meal planner web app that I built with React JS, Redux, React Router, and Bootstrap 4 that helps me think of dinner ideas for a two week period. Try it out here!
